It is really hard for me to recommend this plugin tbh. I initially bought EZmix2 as a one-in-all solution to quickly crank out mixes for my band members. Over the years i have developed some skills in mixing, using mainly free plugins.

I am not a professional and EZmix2 is more aimed at bedroomproducers like me. That, coupled with something like the SSL channel strip (which again has quite a few presets), you can pretty much make an entire mix, with the help of some stock plugins.

They come with plenty of presets and you still have full control of everything. If you want some guitar/bass amps and effects, a great starting point is the Waves GTR3.
This plugin is an all-in-one which doesn't let you touch any of their processing modules. Most plugins out there come with presets and the great thing is that not only you can see exactly the settings that preset has, but you can tweak all the parameters in it, not just the wet/dry ratio (which is pretty much the only control this gives you).
To me part of the fun of mixing is getting to play with all these different toys, different EQs, compressors and FXs, coming up with effects chains, experimenting. If I had it, I would use it like any other plugin, on a case by case basis and for something specific. It could still be used, but most certainly not to make an entire mix with it. Presets can be a great starting point, but this kind of "behind the curtain" processing takes away a lot of control out of your hands. This kind of thing is not really aimed at professional use.
